At Sue’s Swim School, we’re always looking for ways to make our lessons more engaging, effective, and enjoyable for both swimmers and parents. This September, we’re excited to introduce some big improvements to our lesson format that we think you’re going to love!
Clearer Lessons, Clearer Learning
Our new format is designed to give children more independence while still providing guided and differentiated learning. What does this mean?
Each lesson will now have clearly defined sections, so children know exactly what they’re working on.
Parents will be able to see exactly what their child is learning during each session.
Assessments will be simpler and easier to understand, so you’ll know clearly how your child is progressing and what skills they’re developing.
Inspired by the Latest Learning Styles
Over the summer, our Director and Swimming Coordinator, Andy, attended several courses on different learning styles and how these can be applied in swimming lessons. We’re bringing all these ideas into our classes to ensure every child can learn in the way that suits them best.
Training Our Team
All of our instructors, as well as our teaching assistants, will be fully trained on the new lesson format. We’re committed to making sure the changes are consistent across every pool and every class.
A Few Weeks of Learning the New Way
We know it might take a few weeks for the children to adjust to the new format, but we’re confident the benefits will soon be clear. Lessons will have a better pace, a more engaging feel, and an overall improved experience for everyone involved.
We can’t wait to see our swimmers thriving, learning faster, and enjoying their lessons even more than before!
