School Swimming Programme
The programme is built to enable children to meet the KS2 criteria in a sustainable, inclusive manner. We can also provide guidance on showing due course and effort has been implemented by the school when compiling their end of year report- a statutory report required by OFSTED.
Using experience from a swimming teacher, school teacher and PE Coordinator of several Gold Kite mark Schools, the programme shows attainment and progress within a school PE curriculum.
To find out our programme that can be shown help your school as well as how it appeases the Legacy funding that OFSTED require reports for, get in touch and see how we can support your school. We also offer linked status when working toward Kitemark Awards through category b and C competitions.
"It was great having Andy talk to the children, his experience as a teacher is clear in the way he talks to the children. I think we all learnt something today, even the staff"
Primary School Teacher, 2018
As part of our mission to teach and inform as many people as possible, we have started doing school visits. Visits consist of a free assembly on water safety for a KS of your choice as well as a voucher for a free swimming lesson (at selected pools only).
We also offer workshops for children- recommended age- KS2. Where children can learn about water safety in a more activity focused setting.
"I think having somebody with a lot of experience and knowledge in the area allows the school to understand how these lessons can benefit the school as well as the children. It was great having somebody who understands teaching lead the lessons!"
Middle school PE coordinator who experienced the programme in 2017
