It has been an interesting few weeks. About 6 or 7 weeks ago we had an interesting email from Google. They told us that somebody had claimed our business. Usually when people try to play around with it, you get a “suggestion” to change something- this leads to you either saying yes or no.
This time round, details had been changed and it had been cleared. We reported this to Google and they unverified our search listing, this then meant our visibility was minimised and people couldn’t see or leave reviews.
We went through a long and arduous process of getting verified (thinking it couldn’t be worse) then it happened. Our account was suspended, nearly 10 years of reviews, searches, data- all gone!
Over the following weeks, Google was about as useful as a poke in the eye. We jumped through the hoops, danced around the tape and nothing.
Today (13/6/23) we took the step to delete the Cardinal page and start again. It will be quite a while before our visibility gets back to where it was but thanks to our amazing parents, we are already in double figures with the reviews.
