Scholarship Provision
"Every child deserves to be safe around water"
At Sue’s Swim School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn to swim, regardless of background or circumstance.
As part of our ongoing commitment to the schools and communities we work with, we offer the Sue’s Swim School Scholarship to partner schools who access swimming lessons with us as part of their curriculum provision.
Each academic term, Autumn, Spring and Summer, we provide three fully funded 10-week swimming courses to every partner school. These places are allocated at the school’s discretion and are particularly well suited to Pupil Premium or Free School Meal pupils, supporting enrichment, inclusion and pupil wellbeing.
For schools already working with us as part of their curriculum delivery, scholarship places can be accessed by contacting our schools team:
📧 schools@suesswimschool.co.uk
There is no cost to the school or to families, and no obligation for pupils to continue lessons afterwards. This programme exists purely to support schools, reduce barriers to access, and help more children develop confidence, water safety and essential life skills.
School Provision
"Curriculum-aligned swimming lessons delivered by experienced professionals"
What we offer
Personalised instruction.
Personalised learning.
QTS planned progression.
K.P.I progression markers.
National Framework lessons.
45 minute lessons, 30 minutes in the pool.
Our programme is designed to help pupils meet KS2 swimming requirements in a way that is sustainable, inclusive and realistic for schools. It supports long-term progress rather than short-term box ticking.
We also provide clear guidance to help schools demonstrate that due course and effort have been made when compiling end-of-year PE reports. This is particularly valuable when preparing documentation for inspection.
Built on the combined experience of a qualified swimming teacher, school teacher and PE Coordinator, and shaped through work with multiple Gold Kite Mark schools, our programme clearly evidences pupil attainment and progress within a school PE curriculum.
